Amazing Characters, Sick Weapons, and Crazy Gameplay! Overwatch has been an inspirational source for me in regards to how a character’s personality reflects heavily on the final design. I fell in love with the wide array of weapons and accessories that each character had, and the design of those weapons reflected so much of the identity of each hero. Each weapon contained a unique aspect that mirrored the character’s persona–from stylized armoring and clothing, decals, to the vibrant color scheme.
It’s such a fascinating experience breaking down these weapons into low poly designs and learning that through a great story and background, you can bring a sense of identity into a destructive weapon!
